Chi Omega Sorority
The Washington and Lee Greek community is composed of 21 national social organizations -- 13 fraternities and 8 sororities. 11 Fraternities are part of the IFC and 2 are historically black Greek organizations. Six of the sororities are part of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and two of the sororities are historically black Greek organizations, governed by the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC).
Those organizations that maintain a chapter house are supervised by a live-in house director. The houses operate dining rooms and provide lodging for many members. Additionally, chapter meetings and social gatherings are hosted at the houses.
The Panhellenic Adviser, Interfraternity Council Adviser, Associate Dean of Students, and the Student Affairs Committee supervise functions of the Greek community.
