Duchossois Tennis Center
Washington and Lee's men's and women's tennis and basketball teams both utilize the Duchossois Tennis Center for training and varsity competition. Opening in 1997 as one of the premier indoor facilities in all of Division III tennis, the center has been home to numerous conference and national tournaments, including the 1998 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships. In 2017-18, the tennis center was renovated to accomodate the temporary home of both men's and women's basketball, as well as women's volleyball, while the new Athetic and Recreation Center is being constructed.
The Duchossois Tennis Center features four (presently two) indoor courts with a spacious spectator gallery overlooking both courts. The other half the center has been retrofit with a brand-new hardwood surface, as well as some limited courtside bleachers for spectators. There are also team locker rooms, player lounges and a pro shop.
The entrance to the facility includes a dramatic gatehouse, an architectural element consistent with many of the newest buildings on campus and the lobby features oak flooring throughout.
