Alston Parker Watt Field
Alston Parker Watt Field, or "Watt Field,” is utilized by the men's and women's soccer and women's lacrosse teams, and was designed by Clough, Harbour & Associates. Watt Field was completed in 2003 at a cost a $1.50 million.
The field features elevated bleacher seating for 1,000 spectators, a state-of-the-art press box and sound system, and a removable netting system at the ends of the soccer field behind the goals.
The field surface consists of bluegrass natural athletic turf, which is underlaid by sand-based drainage and an irrigation pump. The surface is surrounded by white, vinyl fencing, which provides a stadium atmosphere. Also completed as part of the project were several adjacent practice fields and a 1000-square foot concessions and restroom facility.
