Ruscio Center for Global Learning/duPont Hall
The Ruscio Center for Global Learning/duPont Hall is located between the Science Center and the Gilliam Admissions Building. It previously housed the Art and Music departments, but is now getting a new life as Washington and Lee’s new Center for Global Learning. It will house an innovative, comprehensive program to prepare all graduates for the challenges of the 21st century. The center will be an incubator for experimentation with new methods and technologies in innovative teaching spaces. Anyone entering the building will sense immediately how its architecture, technology, design and programming create a global marketplace of ideas and activities. With the transformation of duPont Hall, global learning at W&L will occupy a central location on campus that symbolizes its importance to a liberal arts education in the 21st century.
Located inside the CGL is the Center for International Education, Arabic Language and Literature, the Department of German and Russian, East Asian Languages and Literature and Global Discovery Laboratories.
